Dhruv Ramani is an experienced Software Engineer and Machine Learning (ML) practitioner, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Reinforcement Learning (RL). He is currently working as an Engineer at udaan, where he is responsible for ML Engineering and Full Stack development. Dhruv has a lifetime of experience with Python and Javascript and has also worked extensively with Java/Kotlin and C++. His earlier research was focused on large transformer-based models for NLP and RL. He is passionate about collaborating with others and is interested in exploring new opportunities in Full Stack Software Engineering roles. Dhruv has a strong educational background, having completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NIT Warangal and his High School education from Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS) in Kuwait. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgetown University, which he is expected to complete in 2023. Prior to his current position at udaan, Dhruv worked as a Data Scientist at the same company, where he led the natural language translation efforts of catalog and search data to local Indian languages. He has also worked as a Project Associate at Bosch, where he conducted research on natural language instruction following, task dependency exploitation, and meta-learning for visuomotor robotics. Dhruv's technical expertise includes ML, NLP, RL, Javascript, Kotlin, Typescript, Azure, Python, Pytorch, Java, Tensorflow, and Search. He has relevant experience of 2.85 years and is always eager to learn and grow in his field. Dhruv is open to collaborations and welcomes any opportunities in Full Stack Software Engineering roles.
