Dhruv Saraswat is a passionate Senior Software Engineer with almost 5 years of experience in Backend Development, Frontend Development, iOS Mobile App Development, and designing REST APIs and Web Solutions at scale. He is currently a Summer Intern at Mathologic, where he developed algorithms for Crew Optimization on a railway network and filed a patent on it. Dhruv started his career at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he built RESTful APIs using JAX-RS client in Java and designed UI components using Angular 8. He also created CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, integrated Netsparker Security Scan with the pipelines, and built a Java Automation Functional Test Suite to test new releases automatically. He worked on new features on InstrumentConnect iOS mobile application, engineered and documented automation UI test cases for new features in InstrumentConnect using XCTest framework of Swift, and isolated and fixed a few bugs in InstrumentConnect iOS mobile app. Additionally, he wrote robust Python Selenium automation scripts to test various facets of a Web UI component and collaborated with the Product Management at every stage of the Product development. Apart from his professional experience, Dhruv is passionate about learning new techniques and skills in Swift to improve app performance. He also has experience working with various AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, RDS, ECS, and other AWS services. Dhruv has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Amrita University and completed an International Exchange Program in Informatics from Technical University Munich. He is skilled in Data Structures, Algorithms, Swift, Xcode, iOS App Development, AWS, Java, C++, Jenkins, Test Driven Development (TDD), AngularJS, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Git, PostgreSQL, Agile, Scrum, and JIRA. In his free time, Dhruv enjoys studying and comparing various iOS App architectures, working on personal iOS app projects, watching past WWDC sessions conducted by Apple, reading Apple Human Interface Guidelines, watching football, solving problems on LeetCode with C++, and answering questions on StackOverflow.
