Dhruv Vora is a Software Development Engineer at Amazon with a passion for algorithmic solutions and problem-solving. Currently pursuing his Masters in Computer Science at USC, Dhruv is interested in learning something new every day and being challenged. He is in search of full-time opportunities where he can apply his skills while maintaining high standards of work ethic, integrity, and quality to benefit the organization he works for. Dhruv's experience includes working as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where he was part of the AWS Observability team. During his time there, he worked on the AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry Collector and its integration with backend services like Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus, AWS X-Ray, and CloudWatch. He also improved the AWS Prometheus Remote Write Exporter and worked on AMP and Contributor Insights in CloudWatch to provide a means to analyze the usage of the OpenTelemetry Collector by AWS customers. Dhruv has become a contributing member of the OpenTelemetry Community of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation and contributed to several open issues in the open-source projects. Prior to Amazon, Dhruv worked as a Software Development Engineer and Data Analyst at USC Facilities Management Services. He built multiple dashboards on the cloud server by creating and making calls to custom APIs using JavaScript and Flask for the efficient management and retrieval of data from the databases for analysis. He also handled information processing, database management, and developed websites to be used by USC and FMS. Dhruv ran and generated reports on business intelligence tools such as Brio and Accruent. Dhruv's education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, University of Mumbai. He also completed his HSC from Mithibai College and his schooling from Chatrabhuj Narsee Memorial School. Dhruv's tech stack includes Software Engineering, AWS, Search, Integration, Backend, Javascript, and Flask. He has 2.20 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Development Engineering.
