Dhruva Bharadwaj is a highly skilled Staff ML Engineer with over 6 years of experience in software design and development. He is currently employed at Jasper, where he has built an offline hyperparameter tuner using hyperopt and airflow, as well as a Metrics Store framework for capturing various metrics such as content overlap of content generated. Dhruva is currently working on building an inference engine using the MLRun stack to serve from content generation models. Prior to joining Jasper, Dhruva worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Clari, where he contributed to two major projects. The first project involved developing three APIs in Java that helped to get the data out from their time-series database in response formats that are suitable for data science consumption. He also contributed to the development of Scala code that trains a statistical model used for scoring how likely opportunities are to close successfully. The second project involved the design and development of two APIs on the data science side codebase that help evaluate the performance of the CRM Scoring models for various orgs, displaying metrics like AUC, Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F-Measure. Dhruva has also worked as a Software Engineer at Clari, where he led a significant effort in developing several APIs for the Team Activity module of the product. He worked on this six-month-long project, which was a great opportunity to develop expertise in using Java 8 concepts of streams, in writing complex PostgreSQL queries, and implementing patterns like the factory pattern. Dhruva holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from NIT Surat. He has experience in ML, software engineering, data science, hyperparameter, Apache Airflow, Scala, Java, MongoDB, SQL, and product management.
