Dhwaneet Bhatt is a seasoned engineering leader with over 11 years of experience in delivering business value to consumer and SaaS products. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Postman, he has a proven track record of building features, evolving them, tearing them down if needed, and rebuilding from scratch. Dhwaneet's expertise lies in software engineering principles such as attention to detail, consistency, automation, and continuous performance improvement. He firmly believes that communication and willingness to get it done are the most important factors for people and organizations to succeed in their endeavors. Before joining Postman, Dhwaneet held the position of Head of Engineering at Novo, where he designed and deployed the company's first real-time debit card transaction processing system in collaboration with Lithic. He also created strategies for app and database scaling as customers grew 5x in a short amount of time. Additionally, he created recruitment plans and processes for various positions and maintained strategies to ensure productivity in an all-remote setting. Prior to Novo, Dhwaneet served as a Senior Backend Engineer at Bank Novo, where he created an internal Banking API layer using GraphQL that abstracts the legacy core banking system. He also improved the performance of daily syncs by 100x over the course of a year with database and code optimizations. Furthermore, he migrated all the app configuration to AWS Parameters Store and then created and open-sourced a library that can fetch these values and convert them to required formats. Dhwaneet holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He also completed his high school studies at Navrachana School, Vadodara, and Our Own English High School, Sharjah. Additionally, he attended Saint Mary's High School in Bhavnagar.
