Diana Poon is an experienced Engineering Manager with a track record of success in leading and managing diverse teams of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Currently working at Brex, she has held similar positions at Verkada and Guidewire Software. At Guidewire Software, Diana managed a team of 13 engineers and aligned each individual's growth with their best interests while supporting company missions. She identified and removed obstacles to allow team members to work efficiently, managed team dynamics, and developed trusting relationships through openness and transparency to maintain a healthy company culture. Her partnership with the Executive team and group product manager resulted in higher team velocity and more engaged team members. Diana led a team of 8 talented engineers to execute a proof of concept solution demonstrating the feasibility of codeless configurations for business users, which is presently one of the top priority projects recognized by the Executive team. She also served as the technical manager for a high-profile web application project that enabled business users to manage their product offerings, targeting a significant reduction in total cost of ownership. Diana holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and has over 15 years of relevant experience. Her tech stack includes senior software engineering, product management, and web development.
