Dilipan Ramakrishnan is an experienced engineering leader and principal program/product manager with over 23 years of experience in diverse business domains such as retail, eCommerce, media, entertainment, energy, manufacturing, and automobile. He has a proven track record of delivering complex systems to Fortune 100 companies and leading cross-functional teams in the USA, UK, Japan, and India. Currently, Dilipan is the Head of Customer Onboarding & Engineering for Freshworks, where he has delivered various products/services for media and entertainment clients in the US since 2014. Some of his notable achievements include developing a data platform to process social media data feed, defining new metrics for video content to help drive business decisions in real-time, and conducting performance vs. cost analysis for AWS Redshift vs. Snowflake vs. Azure SQL data warehouse. Prior to Freshworks, Dilipan led onsite/offshore agile software development and delivery for domestic and international expansion of a top-tier specialty retailer in the US from 2012 to 2014. He was responsible for all aspects of technology, product, and business interfacing. Dilipan holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a B. Tech in Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University. He is an expert in eliciting requirements, partnering with product and business teams, and ensuring defect-free on-time releases.
