With almost seven years of relevant experience, Diljit has worked with top-tier companies such as Twilio, Zalando, and PayPal, where he has contributed to the development of high-performing software systems and engineering teams. Diljit is a language and framework agnostic engineer who believes in using the right tools for the right problem. He is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Twilio, India, where he is responsible for all things engineering and scaling engineering teams. He is working on the product Verify, which is a comprehensive solution that enables businesses to quickly verify the identity of their users. In his previous role at Zalando, Diljit collaborated, designed, and delivered backend software components engineered for low latency near real-time machine learning systems. He was part of the feature-discovery and feature engineering team responsible for both online and offline feature engineering layers. He also played a critical role as an engineer for the Buy Now Pay Later engineering team. At PayPal, Diljit was part of the Risk Compute Platform Team responsible for low latency, highly reliable and high performing risk infrastructure/platform helping PayPal in risk engineering for over 200M+ payments/day. Diljit holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology and completed his high school education with a focus on General Science with Computer Science as an additional subject from Mansur Habibullah Memorial School.
