Dilpreet Singh is an experienced Embedded Engineer, IOT & Android Developer currently working as a Product Design Technician at Western Steel & Tube Ltd. Dilpreet has over 5 years of experience in designing front-end and back-end web apps for smart-storage embedded systems using HTML5, CSS, JS, AJAX, and PHP. He is skilled in making websites responsive using Bootstrap4 to optimize them for SEOs and reduce sprints. Dilpreet has developed web sockets in PHP to update SQL databases on servers from devices to eliminate constant server polling, save data usage, save server time and perform tasks only when required. He has also developed an android app using Java to communicate with Bluetooth smart-container as well as enabling customers to set up WIFI credentials to the device easily via BLE android interface. Dilpreet is skilled in programming microcontrollers Particle Argon, Boron in C++, and creating libraries for future use. He is currently integrating ESP32 Ip camera using UART and creating UI as well as backend on the server. Dilpreet has made test plans and test cases to test the website and android app, to check compatibility of used libraries and hardware's on all major platforms for all unit and integration sprints. He has worked closely with hardware engineers to select components for IOT devices that fit best for the product. Dilpreet has contributed to R&Ds to search for more optimized techniques and technologies to send commands and data over IP without necessary overload and delays.
