Dimitris Lolis is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for open source technology and a drive to constantly learn and improve. With nearly 5 years of relevant experience, he has demonstrated expertise in a range of technologies and methodologies, including ML, research science, data science, Pytorch, AI, Scikit, Django, information retrieval, sentiment analysis, and NLP. Currently serving as Lead Senior Data Scientist at Inaccess, Dimitris is responsible for forecasting correction for submission to energy markets and leading a team of ML professionals, delegating responsibilities and mentoring his teammates. He also applies fast PoCs using PyTorch when DNNs are needed. Prior to his current role, Dimitris served as Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at Earth Science Analytics AS, where he researched new ways of improving tasks, constructed new DNN architectures using Pytorch, tweaked DNNs for better performance, analyzed data through visualization, debugged with Celery and Django, integrated Sklearn ML functions in the product, and refactored code. Dimitris holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Athens University of Economics and Business, where he also completed coursework in NLP, machine learning, and information retrieval. His thesis focused on aspect-based sentiment analysis on electronics reviews. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Piraeus. Throughout his career, Dimitris has demonstrated a deep commitment to staying on the cutting edge of technology and using his skills to make a positive impact on society.
