Dimple P. is an accomplished Software Engineer II at Microsoft with 4.85 years of relevant experience in the industry. She has a strong technical background in SQL, GCP, Azure, Cassandra, DevOps, Spark, Python, Kubernetes, MySQL, infra, Django, test, Kafka, Javascript, Java, and search. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dimple worked as a Multi Cloud DevOps Engineer at SAP, where she developed a central automation system for SAP multi-cloud organization to reduce technical debt in cloud using Python, Django, MySQL, Bazel, GCP Kubernetes, and GCP Cloud Build. She also designed IaaS for deployment of resources for managed backup and restore service infrastructure in multi-cloud for clusters of data sizes ranging from TBs to PBs to run and scale for multiple internal customers. Before SAP, Dimple gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Co-op at Dynosense Corp, where she developed streaming and batch applications using Spark (Java) that read data packets from Kafka and Cassandra, parallely process them in multi-node Spark cluster and store raw and processed data in Cassandra cluster. She also created Cassandra data models according to search requirements and Solr indexes for faster ad-hoc searches. Additionally, she optimized Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, and Solr performance by testing and analyzing configurations to align with system capabilities and for high fault tolerance, availability, and scalability. Dimple holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from International Technological University (ITU) and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Northwestern Polytechnic University. She also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Dharamsinh Desai University.
