Dimple Sharma is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering and AI. She is currently working on the Android Camera project at Microsoft. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Software Engineer at both Microsoft and Samsung. At Samsung, she was part of the multimedia team and worked on cutting-edge AI-based solutions for multimedia streaming. Her project was recognized globally as a 2020 Honoree at CES Innovation Awards. Dimple's responsibilities included developing optimized solutions for adaptive bitrate streaming over Samsung High Definition Displays worldwide. She also developed an end-to-end profiler system for analyzing and utilizing underlying user patterns with respect to multimedia streaming. Dimple performed in-depth analysis to cater solutions for various streaming patterns, contents, demographics, etc. She also developed AI models for various platforms. Dimple received the Young Achiever Award at Samsung Research Institute Delhi in January 2020 for significant contributions to her then project and best performance among freshers in the company. She also received an appreciation award in quarter 2 of 2020 for patent generation (application no. IN202011023167). Dimple holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Raipur.
