Dimple Verma is an optimistic and self-motivated professional with good problem-solving skills. She is currently working as a Software Design Engineer at onlinesales.ai. In her current role, Dimple is responsible for optimizing existing workflows to reduce the SLA of ad selection to ad serving from 12h to ~4h (even with 10x increase in load), writing event-based workflows, REST APIs, services using JavaScript, ETL workflows, and working with a technology stack that includes Python, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, MongoDB, Redshift, Kafka, Solr, Redis, AWS Athena, and AWS S3. She is also proficient in using SVN and GoCD. Dimple has over 4 years of relevant experience, having previously worked as an Associate Software Engineer at amdocs, where she worked on almost all areas of the product ranging from the core functionality of billing/AR to the services that are exposed to multiple applications and the legacy screens exposed to CSRs. She has also worked for T-Mobile client (largest telco in US with ~86M customer base), Telus (largest telco in Canada) and mentored new joiners and conducted code reviews. Her technology stack at amdocs included C, PowerBuilder, Shell Scripting, and PL/SQL. Prior to that, she completed a Software Engineer Internship at Infosys, where she gained hands-on experience in Python, OOPS, SQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and worked on a project using Spring Boot, Maven, MongoDB, Angular4, and Bootstrap. Dimple has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Punjabi University, where she graduated in 2019. She also completed her 12th grade in Non-Medical Science from GMSSS-16D, Chandigarh, in 2013.
