Prior to joining Red Hat, Dinakar worked at Essar Cellphone as a Deputy Manager, where he developed activation software, Siemens SR3 switch MML, and mediation device software. He also worked at IBM as a Senior Software Engineer, where he was involved in the migration from OS/2 to Linux, NPTL, cpusets, sched domains, Linux scheduler, Priority Inheritance, futexes, Linux scalability, Real-Time, and Enterprise RT. He also played a crucial role in the development of Linux Embedded (IBM Watchpad, Tetra PDA), Linux ARM, and Bluetooth. Dinakar is the Architect of the Kruize Autotune Project, which is an Autonomous Performance Tuning tool for Kubernetes.
