Dinesh Bansal is an experienced Chief Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute India, with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. His expertise lies in Android application and framework development, and he is well-versed in languages such as Kotlin, Java, C++, and C. Currently serving as the Chief Software Engineer at Samsung, Dinesh has previously worked as a Lead Software Engineer, where he developed a suite of complex UI widgets and created the TrackView for Group Challenge feature, which was launched in January 2021. He has also worked on the development of the Personal Health Record and Ask An Expert features for Samsung Health, using MVVM and MVP architecture respectively. Additionally, Dinesh has researched and developed a Proof of Concept for Fat Loss Estimation Through Exhale Breath Analysis, where he supervised the data collection drive to analyze model accuracy on real subjects. Prior to his current role, Dinesh worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung, where he developed voice models for Text to Speech solutions and collaborated with Speech and Music Tech Lab, IIT-Madras to create voice models for 13 Indian languages. He also worked on enhancing the functionality and GUI of Mobile core Settings App for all Samsung models, and co-worked on developing the Mobile Print feature for flagship models with Samsung R&D. Dinesh holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, and completed his 11-12th schooling in Science (Math) from Lal Bahadur Shastri Senior Secondary School, Bhadra. He is proficient in a variety of tech stacks, including Software Engineering, Android, Mobile, Senior Software Engineering, Java, Kotlin, ML, and UI.
