Dinesh Kumar is an experienced Database Administrator with a technical skill set that includes Oracle 10g Administration and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0. He is currently working as an SQL Database Administrator at HCL Technologies. With almost 8 years of relevant experience, Dinesh is an expert in Oracle 10g installation on RHEL 5, database creation and management using DBCA, database security and auditing, database tuning, loading data into the database using export and import utility, data flashback, and making and implementing backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and user-managed techniques. He also has a basic knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM). In addition to his database administration skills, Dinesh is proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0. He has experience in installing Red-Hat Linux 5.0, user administration, installing yum server, SSH server, IP Tables, SAMBA server, and SQUID server. He has also worked on cloning of the hard disk.
