Dinesh Kumar is a dynamic professional with over 9 years of extensive experience in software verification and validation of safety-critical embedded systems and solid-state drives. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Continental, where he is responsible for the verification of the PD component of the Continental ADAS radar software and sign recognition system for Toyota cars. He is proficient in various software test methodologies such as system testing, requirement-based testing, unit testing, and black box versus white box testing. He is also experienced in the usage of DO-178B standards for avionics software verification. Dinesh is skilled in preparation of automated and manual test scripting, test plans, procedures, and result summary for HLR and LLR. He has experience in the usage of requirement tracing tools, version control tools, and configuration management tools. He has worked on test planning, test case development, test automation suite development, and test execution. He has also worked on test automation of management SAS SSD compliance test suite and in-house IO tool. Dinesh has worked as a Senior Firmware and Hardware Validation Engineer for the flash-based PCIe SSD for enterprise and data center at Samsung. He has also worked at HCL as a Member Technical Staff, where he was responsible for unit testing of the tire pressure monitoring system.
