Dinesh Nithyanandam is a highly experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for building and evangelizing distributed cloud platforms and associated SRE principles at scale. He is currently working at Maersk, where he is spearheading the hybrid cloud platform (AKS/GKE) and hand-stitching self-service capabilities to solve cross-cutting system functions such as continuous deployment and continuous performance/resiliency. Dinesh is also building core capabilities like telemetry, resiliency, and fault tolerance patterns that empower SRE principles. Prior to Maersk, Dinesh worked at Lowe's Companies, Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer, where he built and demonstrated SRE platforms in open source on cloud-native ecosystems for Lowe's enterprise across digital and store workloads. He also worked at JP Morgan as a Software Engineering Lead, where he built resilient messaging middleware as a service (MaaS) at scale, architecting RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Pulsar on top of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Pivotal Kubernetes services. Dinesh holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Anna University and Zion Matriculation School Chennai. He has over 12 years of relevant experience and is highly skilled in SRE, Neo4j, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spring Boot, Spring, CI/CD, software engineering, senior software engineering, product management, and RabbitMQ. With his expertise and experience, Dinesh is a valuable asset to any organization looking to build and scale distributed cloud platforms and associated SRE principles.
