Dinesh Shetty is a seasoned Security Engineering Manager with over 13 years of experience in the field of Information Security. He is currently working as the Principal Security Engineer at Security Innovation and leads their Mobile Security Center of Excellence. Dinesh's core area of expertise is Mobile and Embedded application pentesting and exploitation. He has performed innumerable penetration tests on Web, Mobile and VoIP technologies. Dinesh's responsibilities include conducting ongoing research on Mobile Application, communication channels, and commonly-used hardware components. He also performs SDLC CyberSecurity Gap Analysis and Optimization for high profile customers. Dinesh has tested applications for stock exchanges, huge financial organizations, social media giants as well as rare applications that make use of biometric capabilities of mobile devices. He has also tested e-voting systems. Apart from this, Dinesh has handled Onsite Presales activities like Proof of Concept of various tools and services for multiple International clients. He is part of Apple and Barracuda Networks Hall of Fame as a part of their Bounty programs for reporting multiple security vulnerabilities in their products. He has previously presented his work at security conferences in USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, India, and a bunch of Middle East and South East Asian countries. Dinesh has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, University of Mumbai. He also has a vocational degree in Computer Science from NES Junior College. Dinesh is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Mobile, Web, and Research Scientist. He is constantly enhancing his knowledge by undergoing multiple security trainings and certifications around the world.
