Diney Wankhede is an experienced software engineer with a focus on backend development. Currently working at Chime, he has honed his skills over a career spanning almost 9 years. Diney's expertise lies in designing and developing scalable solutions for financial and promotional platforms. Prior to joining Chime, Diney worked at Samsung, where he was a part of the backend engineering team responsible for developing a personalized financial management platform. He also played a key role in developing a location-based dynamic promotion engine for improving Samsung device sales. Additionally, Diney worked on Samsung's core Customer Loyalty Platform, Samsung Rewards, which is used across a number of services within the Samsung ecosystem. He implemented a number of features for Samsung Pay's value-added services. Before his stint at Samsung, Diney worked at nopical.com, where he worked on a Twitter feed-based news application which was a MeteorJS (NodeJS + MongoDB) application. He migrated the LAMP stack-based backend API engine to an AWS EC2 instance and worked on a caching layer to improve the backend engine's performance, which utilized Twitter's REST API. Diney holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Chico. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
