Dingu Sagar is a self-taught and passionate programmer with over 3 years of experience in the field of machine learning, computer vision, conversational AI and NLP, deep learning, and backend development. He is a tech enthusiast who loves innovation and is always looking for new ways to apply his skills to solve complex problems. Currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Engati, Dingu is focused on developing natural language query-based product discovery flows in chatbot systems, multi-modal vector search, visual search, and model optimization to reduce inference latency. He has also worked as a Software Engineer in AI & Research at Engati, where he enhanced the conversational AI components of the chatbot building platform. He built automated data pipelines for training, augmentation, testing, and deployment of domain intelligent chatbots in the ecommerce space. Additionally, he built multilingual search in documents powered by recent transformer models. Prior to his work at Engati, Dingu worked as a Teaching Assistant in C programming, data structures, and digital image processing at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kancheepuram. He conducted practical tutorials on debugging with GDB and assisted in practical lab sessions for data structures & algorithms and digital image processing courses. Dingu holds a 5-year program degree in Computer Engineering (BTech + MTech) from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kancheepuram. He also completed his class 12 education at Kendriya Vidyalaya.
