Dinindu Seneviratne is a Head of Solutions Engineering (Production Software) at Zilingo, with a passion for data analytics and a background in physical sciences. He holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Robert Gordon University and a Bachelor of Physical Sciences from the University of Colombo. Dinindu is currently leading a team of data analysts at Zilingo, who are experienced in real-time analytics products for the apparel industry. He is continuously seeking opportunities to develop his skills and knowledge, particularly in software development, big data processing, and real-time analytics. Dinindu has on-the-job experience with APIs and data fetching methodologies used in real-time systems, Elasticsearch, Apache Druid as real-time databases, and data ingestion techniques used in Elasticsearch and Apache Druid. Dinindu is an open-minded and humble person who can work collaboratively with people from different environments, cultures, and mindsets. He has experience in implementing new process management workflows using JIRA software for streamlining work and leading the solutions engineering pillar. He also worked as an Executive - Data Analytics at MAS Holdings, where he learned about using BI to present financial information with forecasts and predictions and gained experience in building what-if scenarios for customer rationalization. Dinindu's education history includes a Bachelor of Physical Sciences in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science from the University of Colombo and Applied Mathematics from Royal College Colombo.
