Dipu Kumar is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the EFT/ POS Payment industry. He has a demonstrated history of building and delivering Payment applications on various POS devices and Banking applications. Dipu is skilled in C++, C++11, C++14 Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Payment domains, EMV, and ISO 8583. As a seasoned architect, Dipu loves designing robust, modular, and scalable systems after due consideration to trade-offs of alternative approaches. He has extensive experience in the development of Payment applications on EMV Smart Card and POS Terminal like Ingenico, VeriFone, and more. Dipu has wide experience in EMV Migration projects and Master Card / VISA certification process for several banks like GPAP, BRAC for Credit / Debit Smart cards. He also facilitates the banks in getting approvals for Test / live cards from Visa / Master. Dipu's core competency includes offshore development of various Banking & Retail applications development on POS for Singapore/Philippine clients. Currently, Dipu is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Amadeus, where he is working on the product name “Revenue Accounting,” which is used by Airlines to monitor their revenue. Revenue accounting provides Airlines with an end-to-end solution related to their business starting from PNR creation till revenue generation. In the past, Dipu has worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Tarang, where he developed payment applications for various banks. He has also worked as a Software Engineer at CGI Information System and Management Consultant Pvt Ltd., where he worked on CORE, a Wealth Management Banking Server application isolated from the outer layers by the IBM-MQ layer. Dipu holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from North Maharashtra University. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Parts-of-speech, C++, and has relevant experience of over 10.13 years.
