Dishant Gupta is a highly organized and hardworking Software Development Engineer 2 at Swiggy. He is an individual who is always exploring to utilize and expand his skills with a group of individuals that are believers in bringing the next-gen tech without the worry of falling like Icarus. With the scope of his vision and audacity of his goals, he believes in overshooting his targets. Currently, Dishant is working as a Software Engineer at Fraazo, where he is working with Ruby on Rails as the main backend development framework along with both structured and unstructured databases for developing the backend technology for the company’s products. He is closely working with stakeholders for incorporating features, systems, and tools to manage the inventory system throughout the supply chain. Dishant is also involved in research, planning, and architecting microservices to move on to the microservice architecture, which would be accelerating the development of projects and reducing the coupling issues in the longer run. Dishant has integrated Kafka for event-based communications between multiple services to exchange data for inventory and other system-shared data between customer, store, and inventory services. He has migrated the project from a serverless architecture at Ruby on Jets to the server based on Ruby on Rails with no functional issues and downtime faced by the users in the migration process. Dishant has also evolved the coding architecture in the project, which has resulted in improving query latency, reusability, and many other factors that help to scale the project in the longer run. Apart from his current role, Dishant has also worked as a Software Developer at Dim Experiences and Deep Learning at Hyperstate Technologies. While working at Hyperstate Technologies, Dishant worked on the research and development part of machine learning on the Kappa Editor, the core product of the company. He used Python and its libraries like Pandas and OpenCV for setting up the MaskRCNN algorithm to generate the required output. Dishant holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. He also completed his schooling from Ebenezer Senior Secondary School, Gwalior.
