Divya Rajpal is a highly motivated and customer-centric Product Manager with over 5 years of experience in the technology industry. She is currently working as a Global Product Line Manager at Hewlett Packard. Divya has a strong background in creating customer-centric product strategies and driving ideas from inception to a finished product. Divya's journey started with a challenging personal situation in her early years of school. She had low self-confidence because of obesity, but it all began to change in light of faith and the power of love so remarkably that she not only lost weight but scored highest in her sophomore year and high school. On that journey, she learned the power of perseverance, but most importantly, she learned to express her views and gained self-confidence. After finding her true self, Divya understood how she could impact people's lives with her experiences, skills, and attitude. Being a first-gen student, she joined an NGO to help underprivileged students get access to education. She used her tech expertise to create a system providing education remotely. This experience gave her her first customer-centricity lesson, and she learned how to create a product strategy. At Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Divya built the shipping industry's first e-commerce platform that increased the customer base by 30% and generated $1.5M incremental revenue for her client. While working with TCS, she enjoyed her work most when she suggested the ideas and drove them to reality. She wanted to be more than a great developer or an analyst; she wanted to be true to her character. Divya came to the US to pursue her MBA to bridge the gaps and reach where she wants to be. During her summer at Amazon, she built a business strategy that forecasts optimized target audiences for Amazon advertisers and modelled a $100M revenue increase with it. Based on her experience and skills gained at Darden, Divya can confidently say that she is a "Rockstar" when it comes to being empathetic and driving solutions using her skills and talent.
