Divyaansh Anuj is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 7 years of experience in building successful startups. He is currently the Founder of VERSE, a simple system on WhatsApp that helps friends catch up regularly and effortlessly. Divyaansh is also the Founder of dailyhunt, which is the parent company of VERSE. Prior to VERSE, Divyaansh founded Introbot, a WhatsApp bot that helps users network and find introductions to people in the startup and business ecosystem. Introbot was backed by Eric Schmidt, the ex-Chairman of Google, Binny Bansal of 021 Capital, Antler - a global VC firm, and multiple well-known angels. Under Divyaansh's leadership, Introbot grew to have more than 5000 early-stage startups, investors, and talent as part of its network. However, he realized that initiating relationships is only part of the problem, and the harder part is maintaining them. To focus on that, he amicably moved on to VERSE as a new company, while his co-founder continues to run Introbot with its existing shareholders. Before Introbot, Divyaansh founded Dextra, a community platform for the creator economy. Dextra was backed by Naveen Tewari, the Founder and CEO of InMobi/Glance, and other marquee angels. However, due to some fundraising and operational mistakes that led to cashflow issues, and not having a strong product-market fit in a B2C product, Dextra faced high churn. Divyaansh could have saved it by turning it into an agency, but that wasn't the company he wanted to build. Then the idea of Introbot happened, and that seemed much more plausible. They returned part of the capital to their investors. Divyaansh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also completed his high school education in Computer Science from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. Divyaansh is proficient in Search, Android, and iOS technologies. Overall, Divyaansh's experience as an entrepreneur has taught him valuable lessons about building and scaling startups. He is passionate about creating products that solve real-world problems and make a positive impact on people's lives.
