Divyam Agarwal is a highly skilled Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where he works as part of the search team within Oracle Analytics Cloud. With almost three years of relevant experience, he is responsible for supporting multi-threaded search capabilities which involve indexing and querying of data, using Elasticsearch and Lucene as the core search engine libraries. Divyam's expertise also includes writing and maintaining bash scripts for generating a dev environment with multiple configurations and reducing the setup time. He has worked with different teams across Oracle to resolve bugs and add enhancements to support customer requirements. Currently, he is working on integrating Oracle Digital Assistant with the product to enhance the NLP capabilities of the search functionality. Before joining Oracle, Divyam worked as a Summer Intern at Citi, where he migrated an internal application originally built using Struts/JSP to a newer decoupled architecture using Angular and Spring framework. He also worked on Angular and helped in architecting the Angular app in terms of identifying and organising the components and services required in a logical way. He created a component for parsing JSON to HTML and separate the data and code part using structural directives. Divyam holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a High School Diploma in Science (PCM) from Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Search, AngularJS, NLP, Elastic Search, Spring, and Docker.
