Divyam Goel is a highly skilled software engineer with experience in backend development, infrastructure, machine learning, and computer vision. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Twitter, he is a part of the Conversation Infrastructure team that powers the Tweet replies page. Divyam is responsible for developing the next-generation Feature Hydration and Reply Scoring pipeline to support 10x features. He has also reduced cryptospam by 25% on the TweetDetail page with time-based model thresholding techniques. Additionally, he built the Load Test infrastructure for the service with the second-highest public traffic on Twitter. Prior to Twitter, Divyam worked as an Engineering Intern at Eightfold, where he added enhancements to internal dashboards and built a pipeline to incorporate custom ML models in search ranking. He also made core improvements to bring down system latency. As a Computer Vision Research Assistant at Harvard University, Divyam contributed to the open-source Connectomics package and identified performance gaps on different datasets. He is also developing the first end-to-end 3D Skeletonization method for Neuron EM-Images using Flux-based Conv Networks. Divyam has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He completed his education in 2021. He also attended Ryan International School, Sohna Road, from 2003 to 2017.
