Divyang Bhimani is a Lead Software Engineer at HERE Technologies with over 6 years of relevant experience in the software industry. He is a skilled software engineer with expertise in Java, Big Data, MySQL, Redis, DevOps, Spring, MongoDB, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Elastic Search, Microservices, product design, infra, Spring Boot, Kafka, Search, Backend, and Web. Divyang is passionate about creating impactful solutions that change the way we live and enable us to execute daily tasks in a more efficient way. He started his professional career in the logistics domain in 2016 by joining a start-up that aimed to streamline the logistics industry. There, he helped build a Logistics Platform from scratch to an enterprise SAAS Platform by contributing to industry studies, product design, product road map, feature specifications, architecture, development, maintenance, and mentoring the team. He received promotion and recognition awards every 1 or 2 years for out-of-the-box thinking and always stepping outside his shoes to explore the unknown, resulting in a strong and valuable product. Recently, in 2021, Divyang decided to explore the big data industry, as he believes big data will play a vital role in the near future. He joined HERE Technologies, where his role and responsibilities involve building a platform that tracks usage, performs technical accounting, and generates accurate invoices automatically on time. His major challenging area is to process Big Data in real-time with 100% accuracy, as it directly impacts the trust of customers in the platform. Currently, he is involved in a major re-architecture of the existing platform by contributing to architecture, development, DevOps, maintenance of the existing platform, and mentoring the team. Before joining HERE Technologies, Divyang worked as a Principal Engineer at LogiNext, where he was responsible for product performance, scale, and infrastructure. He designed and developed product-level infrastructure and framework changes, monitored and optimized database performance, mentored the team, and led the projects while maintaining deliveries. Divyang holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from G. L. S. Institute of Computer Applications. He completed his schooling from Nutan High School.
