Divyendra Mikkilineni is a highly skilled and experienced Member Of Technical Staff at Eightfold.ai. He is currently working in the Core Infrastructure team, where he is responsible for building and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions as a Lead Engineer. Divyendra has an impressive academic background, having completed a Master's degree in Computer Science and Data Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before joining Eightfold.ai, Divyendra worked as a Software Consultant at Cellworks Life, where he built a HIPPA compliant cloud orchestrator infrastructure over AWS. He designed the infrastructure to leverage cheap AWS Spot instances, which had to be smartly bidded upon by the system competing with global users at the risk of losing instances when outbid. He also distributed, monitored and parallelized simulation jobs, resulting in an estimated 30% cost savings and 45% time reductions. Divyendra has also worked as a Lead Developer at Rocketsingh, where he implemented the core GeoSpatial Index wrapper over S3 geometry to fetch taxis in nearby locations in logarithmic time. He architected and designed the server-side architecture to support the 10K scale and wrote the entire mobile-facing app technology stack respecting the mobile environmental constraints. He also built a prototype of the GeoClustering module, which would cluster customer orders in vicinal destinations to save logistic efforts.
