Diwanshu Jain is a highly motivated Software Engineer at Salesforce with a passion for tackling complex problems and exploring new areas of learning. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he conducted research in the applications of Machine Learning/Deep Learning in Computer Networking Systems. Diwanshu's research interests also extend to Computer Vision and Non-linear optimization techniques. Diwanshu has gained valuable experience through his summer internships at ICube Lab, University of Strasbourg, France, and Fuzzy Systems Lab at Hanyang University, South Korea. He has worked on problems related to the reconstruction of 3D particles from degraded images and enhancing image quality using interval type-2 fuzzy systems, respectively. He also has a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, with a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. Diwanshu has a diverse skill set, including expertise in programming languages such as C++, C, Java, Python, SQL, MATLAB, C#, Julia, and Scala. He is also proficient in Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and OpenCV. He has experience working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Node.js. Additionally, he has experience with Big-Data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Apache Spark, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and AWS. He is proficient in operating systems such as MacOS, Linux, and Windows, and has experience working with Git, IntelliJ, and Eclipse. During his time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Diwanshu worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, where he designed an edge-computing based architecture that uses effective video compression and deep learning techniques. He also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where he assisted with courses in Discrete Mathematics, MATLAB/Maple Programming, Database Management Systems, and Machine Learning.
