Dixon Dalmeida is a highly experienced Cloud Security Architect with a focus on Cloud Governance and DevOps solutions. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Dixon is well-versed in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, GCP) and Kubernetes technologies. He is results-focused, driving transformation and road maps to meet business objectives through native cloud architecture adoption and technical plans. Currently working as the Lead Cloud Security Engineer at Outsystems, Dixon specializes in architecting Cloud Governance/Security solutions and is an expert in the surrounding ecosystem to help solve real business problems. He has well-developed experience around the process and people skills, and is a great mentor and team player. Dixon has also cooperated with architecture and technology leaders in driving complex, cross-organization solutions. Dixon has worked with several companies in the past, including Citrix where he worked as a Product Owner for the Cloud Governance Team. Here, he coordinated directly with product owners, program managers, developers, and customers to define features and technical user stories. He also led the team to automate and operationalize controls to secure cloud-based systems, architected and engineered remediation alert service for tools like Qualys, Dome9, Cloudaware, Azure Security Center, etc. and designed and standardized Identity Solutions for Azure, GCP, and AWS to increase the accessibility of the cloud. In his previous role as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Srijan Technologies, Dixon coordinated directly with other product owners, program managers, developers, and customers to create features and roadmaps for the team. He redesigned and automated solutions to migrate on-premise applications to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), streamlined the DevOps Process by leading teams to automate the CI/CD process using Jenkins, Helm charts, Docker, Spinnaker, React, and Node.js Projects, modernized infrastructure creation using Terraform and Ansible in Azure and GCP, and enhanced AWS security by automating Landing Zone to create accounts with baselines. Dixon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from St. Joseph Engineering College Vamanjoor and has also completed his Pre-University College from Vijaya College, Mulki, and High School from Shree Narayana Guru English Medium School. He is a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager and a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Security Engineer Associate.
