Diyue Xiao is an experienced software engineer with a passion for backend and infrastructure development. Currently working at Google, she is a key member of the core infrastructure team Borg, which is responsible for scheduling all workloads across Google data centers. With over 100k lines of C++ contributed, Diyue has proven her ability to create scalable and efficient distributed systems. She has also handled high-pressure monthly on-calls and resolved Google-impacting production critical issues. Diyue is particularly interested in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and has a strong desire to contribute her skills and experience to developing innovative AI solutions. She is actively seeking new opportunities within the software engineering field, and is open to exploring other areas of interest as well. Prior to her current role at Google, Diyue worked as a Software Engineer in Test at Tintri. In this role, she developed automation tools for building scalable, flexible, and complex testing environments. She also wrote test cases using Python, PowerShell, and Bash. As an intern at Tintri, she developed an end-to-end automation tool to set up and configure the Active Directory infrastructure. Diyue holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications. She has experience in software engineering, test, infrastructure, AI, machine learning, SDET, backend, and Python.
