DJ Daniels is a Full Stack Engineer at Upstart with almost 10 years of relevant experience in the field of web development. He is comfortable working within the full stack and has experience with current front-end and back-end technologies such as Rails, Angular, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap/Foundation. He has the ability to readily pick up new technologies and excels in a collaborative high-volume team environment. DJ is also comfortable with the Agile Development Process. Prior to joining Upstart, DJ worked as a Frontend Software Engineer at Ampush and an Assistant Instructor at Makersquare. During his time at Makersquare, he was responsible for creating challenge exercises and curriculum, conducting applicant technical and behavioral interviews, and providing classroom instruction on Rails, Ruby, Javascript, and Angular. He also served as a developer advocate and was responsible for office supplies renewal. DJ holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Political Science, with a focus on CIS/CIT, from the University of Oregon. He also completed his high school education at Saint Augustine High School.
