Djalel MEFTOUH is a highly experienced Data Engineer, Data Scientist, and Talend Expert with over 15 years of experience in the field. Currently working at photobox as a Data Engineer, Djalel ensures data availability on a day-to-day basis to monitor the health of the business. He writes scripts using Python to populate Redshift data marts, builds SQL queries, and improves the performance of the Redshift data warehouse. Additionally, he designs and develops Tableau dashboards to provide insights to the business. Djalel has worked with several companies in the past, including prodata and saaswedo, where he served as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, and Team Manager. At prodata, he worked on a parking app that uses AI to help people find public parking in city streets. He collected and analyzed data, pre-processed it, and tested different machine learning algorithms such as SVM, Random Forest, and Logistic Regression. At saaswedo, Djalel built pipelines for data integration, migrated over 50 processes from Neofi to Talend, and analyzed over 1,000 sources for over 30 telecommunication providers around the world. He also wrote scripts using Python and PHP curl to collect data from different sources, built pipelines using Talend, ODI, and Python to transform and load data in databases and data marts, and set up CI/CD processes from Github into AWS through Jenkins. Additionally, he supported and automated the infrastructure using the Talend platform and designed and developed Oracle publisher dashboards. Djalel holds a Master's degree in Technology and Information Systems from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), a Master's degree in Management of Information Systems from the Université de Bretagne Occidentale, and a diploma in Engineering from the Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'. He also completed a Fullstack Data Science program at Jedha Bootcamp.
