Dmitry Shyshkin is an experienced software engineer and SDET with a passion for testing and test automation. With over 12 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining Full-Stack Test Automation Frameworks for Web, mobile applications, and API tests. He is proficient in using Selenium WebDriver with different languages and frameworks, including Java, JavaScript, and Python programming languages, jUnit, TestNG, Pytest, and Robot frameworks. Dmitry has solid testing experience with Web Services, SOAP, and RESTful APIs, and has hands-on experience developing Data Driven Test Automation frameworks. He has a solid understanding of CI/CD processes in an Agile environment and experience working with build and source control tools such as Maven, Git, and Jenkins. In addition, he has experience using shell commands in Unix environment and writing complex SQL queries. Currently, Dmitry is working as a Principal UI Software Developer in Test at Palo Alto Networks, where he has led the planning and execution of UI automated testing efforts and provided guidance to a team of 40 automation engineers. He has defined and promoted test automation best practices, standards, and processes, and maintained UI Automation using Robot Framework with Selenium library. He has also developed Selenium UI automation using Python and Pytest framework and migrated automated UI tests from Robot to Pytest framework. In addition, he has automated UI tests using Cypress and JavaScript and executed automated tests using Jenkins and Docker. Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks, Dmitry worked as a Mobile Test Automation Consultant at Naturally Slim, where he developed an Advanced Full-Stack Test Automation Framework for Mobile App Testing using Appium and integrated automated tests with Jenkins and CircleCI for continuous multithreaded execution. He also worked as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Bridgepay Network Solutions, where he led the planning and execution of automated testing efforts and developed Full-Stack Test Automation Framework using Java, Maven, and TestNG. Dmitry holds a Bachelor's degree in Land Management and Geographical Information Systems from the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use, and a Certificate in Software QA from Portnov Computer School. He is hardworking, energetic, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
