Dmitry Smorodinnikov is a highly skilled software engineer with a wealth of experience building large-scale production systems. Prior to this, he worked at Gojek as a Senior Software Engineer, where he was responsible for ensuring that the platform was safe and trustworthy for drivers, customers, and merchants. He also led the engineering teams that built core components of the Risk Platform, including the Sanction Service, Fake GPS Detection, and Face Verification System. Dmitry built the roadmap for the engineering teams and hired world-class engineers for multiple teams. His tech stack at Gojek included Go, Java, Python, Postgres, Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Spark, Airflow, Google Cloud, Gitlab, Docker, and Prometheus/TICK. Before his role as a Senior Software Engineer, Dmitry worked as a Software Engineer at Gojek, where he built a global Risk Platform. He has also worked at other companies, gaining valuable experience that has helped him become the successful software engineer he is today. Dmitry holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies from Ural Federal University, as well as two Master of Science degrees in Dependable Software Systems from Maynooth University and the University of St Andrews.
