Dominic Sardina is a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer, Team Lead, and UI/UX Lead at Bond Financial Technologies, Inc. With over 17 years of relevant experience, he has established himself as a leader in his field, known for creating user-friendly, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. As the lead senior web developer, mentor, and architect for the frontend of Bond's embedded finance/compliance app, Dominic uses modular, responsive, modern JavaScript and React with hooks, tests, and GraphQL. He also employs fundamentals of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Redux or Context to build apps from scratch using NextJS, npm, Docker, Git, Github, CircleCI, Webpack, Babel, ES6-ES10, Apollo, Hasura, Graphene, Sonar, ESLint, Cypress, Storybook, LaunchDarkly, Netlify, Sentry, and other cutting-edge technologies. Before joining Bond Financial Technologies, Dominic worked as a Front End Developer at Rooster Teeth, where he created intuitive and accessible features for a Netflix-like streaming video platform and its social community using React and Redux. He also served as a Sr. Web Engineer at OnPrem Solution Partners, where he developed web apps for Hollywood movie studios like NBCUniversal and Fox using React, Redux/MobX, Angular, Polymer, Node.js, ES6/ESNext, PostCSS, and other tools. Dominic holds a BS in Computer Science from Marquette University, where he graduated in 2002. He also attended Whitnall High School from 1994 to 1998. In addition to his technical expertise, Dominic has a proven track record of leadership and teamwork. He has led his company's Volunteer Outreach committee and Team & Culture committee and has created training classes to teach his peers Meteor.js, MongoDB, and React Native. He has also established JavaScript courses to train new hires that he interviewed and recruited.
