Dominie Jacob is an experienced Enterprise Data & Platform Architect with over 18 years of experience in implementing Domain Driven Data Hubs & Data Mesh Architecture, Big Data Platform, Enterprise Data Warehouse, On Premise, Hybrid & Multi Cloud, Kubernetes Platform, Business Intelligence (BI), Self-Service & Exploratory Analytics Platform, Machine Learning/Data Science Platform, Data Engineering, Software Development & CDCI. Platform capabilities include Generic ingestion frameworks for 100+ heterogeneous sources (0 coding for data engineer) & generic Data Curation frameworks with minimal coding & self-sufficient security, optimization, workload isolation, storage isolation & observability, Data Federation, Data as product, Data as service, and CDCI automation. He provides scalable, elastic, cost-optimal on-premise, hybrid & multi-cloud solutions for the Data engineering team. Dominie has set up architecture guidelines, complexity metrics for estimation & coding standards for ~300+ data engineers and reviews the same periodically. He ensures the system is compliant and secured by implementing Data Quality, Governance, Security & Privacy. He reviews the Security policies every quarter for all the data engineering systems and works with the Security team, Governance Team, Application & Admins team to mitigate the risks.
