Donovon Jenson is a strategically-inclined software engineer with a passion for integrating technology with psychological principles to create positive, innovative, and meaningful experiences for end-users. He is a generalist with experience in Javascript/Typescript, Java, and Dart, and prefers full-stack development as it allows him to experience the product as a whole from a strategic viewpoint. Donovon is currently working as a Software Engineer at Google on the Product Team, where he led frontend/backend integration for a new system, along with auth aspects. He also worked on the Platform Team, where he led a multi-quarter effort to migrate 35 projects between platforms, including codegen and auth. Donovon is experienced in Angular, Java, and Python. In addition to his work at Google, Donovon always works on side projects, including writing books, creating Youtube content, and making music. He is open to meeting new people and helping them in any way he can. Donovon has worked as a Software Engineer at CBT Nuggets, where he focused on full-stack Javascript, including Node.js, Express, React, React Router, and GraphQL. During his time there, he rebuilt an admin site for instructors to upload and manage content. He also worked as a Social Media Specialist at Thumbtack, where he was the project lead on all collaborative projects with social media brand marketing and coached the social media support team to 50% faster response time. Donovon has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Business minor and an Honors degree in Health, Society & Policy from the University of Utah. He also has a Software Engineering Immersive degree from Hack Reactor and a Front End Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp.
