Dr. Rajat Kumar Behera is an accomplished Associate Professor in the School of Computer Engineering at KIIT, Deemed to be University. With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry and 5 years in education, he has established himself as a leading expert in the fields of Data Science, Business Analytics, Technology Adoption, Ethics & Technology, and Software Engineering. Dr. Behera holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Computing from the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, and has completed a PGDM in Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He also has an M.Tech in Mathematical Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a B.E in Computer Science & Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (formerly UCE), Burla. Throughout his career, Dr. Behera has worked with top-tier organizations such as IBM and Mindtree, where he served as a Project Delivery Manager and Project Manager, respectively. He has gained extensive experience in project delivery, customer engagement, people management, architecture, design, development, and support. Dr. Behera is a certified professional with PMP, ITIL, and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications to his credit. He is also a proficient Data Scientist and Research Scientist with relevant experience of 14.21 years. Dr. Behera is an active researcher and has published several papers in reputed journals and conferences. He is a sought-after speaker and has delivered talks on various topics at national and international conferences.
