Dr. Shitalkumar Rawandale is a highly accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in the field of training and placement. He is currently serving as the Dean of Placements at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) and the President of Maharashtra Association of TPOs (MaTPO). Dr. Rawandale has an impressive track record of placing around 22,000 students from across India through campus recruitment drives. Dr. Rawandale is a member of the Maharashtra Level Panel of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s Industry-Academia Connect and the Maharashtra Level Coordinator for CII JOBfairs & Zonal Coordinator for CII Industry-Academia Connect-Pune Region. He has been felicitated by Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadanvis for his extraordinary work in the field of training and placement. Dr. Rawandale is the recipient of several national level awards, including the “Career Guru” award in ‘National Employability Conclave’ and the “Employability Enunciator of India 2016” award by ReThink India. He has also been recognized as a “Grand Achiever” by Odser Indo-Global. Dr. Rawandale has formed a network of around 1,200 TPOs across the country and connected with around 1,000 industry HR/technical professionals. He conducts around 350 to 400 recruitment drives each year and around 100 to 125 off-campus/pool campus recruitment drives each year for all eligible students from across India. Dr. Rawandale is the founder President of Maharashtra Training Placement Officers’ Association (MATPO), an association of around 500 TPOs to enhance employability and placements. He has conducted several industry-institute interaction meets and training sessions across India for TPOs, college principals, HODs, faculty, and students. Dr. Rawandale has improved the placement percentage from 2% to 75% at PCCOE, Pune. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur, and a Master of Engineering (ME) degree in Heat Power from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade (PGDFT) from IBMR, Pune, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from SSV
