Drew Bourne is a distinguished engineer with over 17 years of relevant experience in the software engineering industry. He is currently working as a developer at Alfresco Design, where he is responsible for much of the Flash animation and interaction work. Drew has successfully balanced multiple projects and completed work to deadlines and specifications for a variety of clients. Prior to his current position, Drew worked as a developer at ANYwebcam.com, a webcam and chat community with over 4 million registered users. As the primary Flash and JavaScript developer, he developed solutions used by thousands of concurrent users for webcam broadcast, webcam viewing, group chat, and instant messaging communications. Drew also worked as a programmer analyst at Mazda Australia, where he was responsible for converting legacy applications to Flex front-end and Java back-end services. He mentored on TDD, unit testing, design pattern, and user interaction patterns during his time at Mazda. Drew holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Industries - Communication Design from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), as well as a Diploma in Multimedia from Southbank Institute of TAFE and TAFE. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in software engineering and senior software engineering.
