Edward Hamilton is a seasoned software developer with over 25 years of experience in the field. He specializes in optimization for high-volume, on-demand service industries and has successfully built optimization solutions used by numerous Fortune 500 companies scheduling over a million agents a day. Edward is an inventor on over 14 patents in the area of optimization, forecasting, simulation, scheduling, routing, and long term planning. Edward's expertise lies in Workforce Management (WFO), Forecasting, Scheduling, Planning, and Workflow Optimization using various techniques such as Simulation/Optimization, Combinatorial Optimization, Constraints Programming, Heuristic Search/Repair, Linear Programming, Machine Learning, and custom algorithms. Edward has worked with various companies in the past, including Verint and Witness Systems, where he held the positions of Senior Software Architect and Software Architect (Planning/Scheduling), respectively. At Verint, Edward designed and led the expansion of IMPACT 360 WFM optimization engine into the back-office, branch and remote office, and workflow optimization. He also designed and led the development of a Long Term Planning product offering functionality not matched by their competitors.
