Edward Ishman is a highly accomplished software engineering leader and certified Scrum Master with over 10 years of experience in global management and cross-functional teams. He is passionate about building and mentoring empowered teams that are engaged, efficient, and collaborative. Edward has a proven track record of directing widely diverse and distributed teams to quality-driven organizational goals, including the successful delivery of scalable products that provide superior value and sustained impact. As the Director of Engineering at g2, Edward is responsible for leading the software development team towards the company's growth and success. He has solidified the roadmap, including technical feasibility and solution architecture, automated testing, and maintenance, by leveraging strong product management relationships, resulting in one of the highest revenue-generating security products (over $90M). Edward has also driven Continuous Integration/Agile transformations through the adoption of industry-best tools and practices, receiving accolades on each of those assignments from three different managers. Edward has worked as an Engineering Manager at g2 and as a Director of Software Engineering at Broadcom, where he directed two Scrum teams through the Broadcom acquisition, acting as Scrum Master for both. He supported the organizational goal of transitioning the PAM global management team (US, Europe, India), as he guided a global development team consisting of 90+ engineers. Edward has leveraged product management relationships to solidify technical roadmaps as related to product architecture, growth, and maintenance. He has also ensured proper allocation of local resources to provide required scalability and usability features as planned/unplanned. Edward has a Master's degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. He has also completed the Leadership Development Program from CA Technologies.
