Eeshan Deo is a final-year undergraduate at IIT Kharagpur with a passion for software development. He is a highly motivated team player with a knack for real-life problem-solving. Eeshan has undertaken several projects and internships in software development, and his experience has equipped him with a wide range of skills that he can apply to different projects. Eeshan has participated in several coding competitions, including Kickstart Round F and E in 2021 and the Facebook Hackercup in 2021, where he secured impressive global and India ranks. He is currently a Software Engineer at Honeywell, where he has designed a multi-tenant application for Honeywell's customers, reducing required effort by 100+ person-hours. He has also reduced query response time by 300% by designing a Distributed Database using Citus, which uses the horizontal sharding technique. Eeshan's excellent performance has earned him a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) and recognition from his project mentor. Eeshan has also held leadership positions in student welfare groups and technology events at IIT Kharagpur. As a student mentor, he mentored five freshmen students under the Student Welfare Program. As Secretary Technology at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall of Residence, he successfully handled a technology budget of 2.5 lakhs for over 1800 students, ensuring correct distribution over every event. He also managed Technology Events such as OpenSoft, Data Analytics, ChemQuest, Product Design, and Hardware Modelling. Eeshan is a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) student in Chemical Engineering at IIT Kharagpur and is expected to graduate in December 2022. He has a diverse tech stack that includes software engineering, MSSQL, Postgres, and product design. Eeshan has 1.77 years of relevant experience and is looking for opportunities to apply his skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth and success of an organization.
