Elias Amha is a pre-senior software engineer and weekend developer with a passion for programming and problem-solving. He is a self-proclaimed cinephile who wakes up every morning and starts coding the solution to yesterday's problem that was on his mind all day long. Elias is most productive in the morning and works on his own from home with no distractions, claiming to work "24/7". Elias uses a technique he calls "Fractalization" to deal with the feeling of dread when a challenging task arrives. He reads about harder tasks for the rest of the afternoon, thinks about possible solutions, compares them, digests them, and becomes one with them. Once he is done with the easier tasks, he plays chess online to relax for a bit. If the job becomes too boring, he procrastinates by solving CTF challenges and cyber-security problems. Elias acknowledges that he is not perfect but plays towards his strengths and improves from his weaknesses. He is a bit shy and self-conscious, but once you get along, it's like you've known him your whole life. He craves challenging technical problems and the "Aha" moment of finding solutions to the problems. He learns best on the job, with deadlines fueling his insatiable train of problem-solving. He truly believes in the power of automation. Currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Addis Software, Elias has also worked as a Software Engineer at fl0 and as a Freelance Software Engineer at Upwork. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University, which he will complete in July 2022. Elias is dedicated to one thing: the code, the whole code, and nothing but the code. He is an all-around fun guy who enjoys the simple things in life. If given the opportunity, Elias would be a valuable addition to any software development team.
