He is currently working as a Software Applications Engineer at Extreme Networks, where he is part of the High Availability Fabric Automation group building services using Go & Kubernetes to analyze and interact with their distributed data center infrastructure. Elton has a strong interest in data center automation, OpenStack, CRDTs, distributed storage & compute, consensus algorithms, sync infrastructure, cloud automation & provisioning. He is proficient in a wide range of software development tools and technologies, including Golang, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Bash, NGINX, Traefik, GRPC, OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS). In addition to his expertise in software development, Elton is also well-versed in web backend development, with experience using Go, Gin, Mux, Node.js, OAuth, JWT, MongoDB, Postgres, MariaDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Gorm, Swagger, and GraphQL. He has worked on various projects, including building a customer-vendor recommendation system that matches orders to vendors and building automation engines for instant quoting of parts and process recommendations. Elton's past experience includes working as a Software Developer at Fracktal Works, where he was in charge of planning, software research, and development of Fractory.in, a software platform that makes manufacturing happen seamlessly online using processes such as 3D Printing, CNC Machining, etc. He also worked as a Software Intern at FlippAR, where he researched building Augmented Reality (AR) interfaces for the web and built an interface to detect faces (OpenCV) and let users try out spectacles.
