In my role as the Design and Technical Head at the Computer Technology Student Chapter, YCCE, from April 2017 to June 2018, I assumed responsibility for selecting and leading a team, coordinating with other event heads to gather technical requirements, and managing deadlines for various projects. My role was pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of technical aspects for events and projects.

Mukkam.in was an online platform co-founded by Elvin Baghele in 2016. It was originally designed to list accommodations near colleges and offices in Nagpur, offering a convenient way for students and professionals to find nearby housing options. The platform allowed users to browse and book accommodations, making it easier for them to find suitable places to live close to their institutions or workplaces.

Over time, Mukkam was rebranded to Placeefy, and the platform expanded its services. The technology stack used for Mukkam included PHP with Laravel for the backend, React JS and React Native for the frontend, while the platform operated on AWS with MongoDB and MySQL as the database technologies. Elvin served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), overseeing the technological strategy, cloud infrastructure, and development best practices.

In 2018, Elvin left the company and pursued new opportunities.

Elvin was involved in the development of various platforms, including an AngularJS and Node.js-based Financial Approvals Dashboard, which streamlined quotation, invoice, and multiple payment approval workflows. He also contributed to building an HR and Hiring Platform using ReactJS and Node.js, automating the end-to-end hiring process, employee promotions, complaints management, and creating user-specific portals, including a vendor portal.

In addition, Elvin worked on an Ecommerce website for local vendors to sell art, built on WooCommerce, and contributed to the development and maintenance of UPAY's WordPress websites, including the main site and the donation platform. He was responsible for the deployment, building, development, and testing of these software solutions at UPAY.

Founded on the 12th of May, 2010 by Varun Shrivastava, an IIT Kharagpur Graduate, along with his young engineer friends, UPAY has been on a mission to make quality education easily accessible to the remotest villages of India. On 19th September 2011, UPAY got registered under the Society Registration Act as an NGO.

Our journey began with three members and one center, catering to 20 children. Currently, we have a total of 40 centers across the country which includes  32 Learning Centers, 6 Skill Development Centers, and 2 libraries. It has expanded from 20 children to more than 10000 children & 380 volunteers.

The success story of UPAY speaks volumes about the transformative power of education. We have witnessed children who were once unable to perform basic arithmetic calculations now excelling academically and bringing pride to their underprivileged areas.

One of the key aspects that set UPAY apart is our sustainable model. As our students graduate and pursue higher education, they give back to their communities by becoming teachers for the underprivileged children in their villages. This "Education for Education" and "Educate & get Educated" approach not only empowers our students but also creates a self-sustaining cycle of education and progress.

As the Director of the Rotaract Club of YCCE from May 2016 to June 2018, I led and coordinated various initiatives aimed at community service and social impact. This role allowed me to contribute significantly to community development and humanitarian efforts.

As the Co-head of the Design and Technical team at the Computer Technology Student Chapter, YCCE, from April 2016 to April 2017, my responsibilities included interviewing and training fresher team members, distributing and monitoring work progress, and collaborating on the development of Android applications, websites, banners, and posters for college events and marketing.

During my tenure as a team member in the Technical team of CTSC at YCCE from April 2015 to March 2016, I actively participated in the development of the Compufest Website and Android application. I also played a significant role in creating the backend for websites like www.ycce.hosting.acm.org and www.csrclub.in, which remained active for one year.
