Eric Cooper is a seasoned Strategic Architect with over 25 years of experience in strategy, product, customer experience, and partnership development. He has worked with start-ups, established corporations, and R&D organizations, helping them achieve unprecedented levels of growth and success. Eric currently serves as a Portfolio Manager for Intel Capital, specializing in AI and Software Development, where he advises over 50 CxOs primarily working for AI start-ups to evolve their products, expand markets, and leverage Intel and industry analysts to grow their business and create value for end-users. Eric's ability to stay abreast of cutting-edge industry practices has been a consistent narrative throughout his career. While working as a Senior Research Scientist at Apple, he created a prototype that allowed for the development of geocoding and developed a patent for work done on representing application state as a means to support richer end-user communications. At Learning in Motion, Eric gained 10+ years of experience in software development and created a scalable client/server application that was later deployed to over 20 countries. Throughout his experiences, Eric has gained a passion for understanding the impact of technology on customers and end-users and the skill in creating strategy, products, and partnerships to add value for all stakeholders. He has also led partnership development with AI start-ups to create proofs of concepts for adoption by large enterprise customers. While working as a Principal Strategist within Intel Education Group, he identified best-in-class, emerging technologies and drove product integrations with third-party developers. Eric holds a Ph.D. (ABD), an M.A., and a B.A. from Stanford University, as well as a High School Diploma from Hackley School. He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer, AI, Research Scientist, and Software Engineer, making him a well-rounded technologist. With 36.87 years of relevant experience, Eric is a tenacious and focused technologist with a breadth of expertise that spans across various areas, making him an asset to any organization.
